One of the tools used in Feng Shui, the bagwa map is used to quickly determine where the different feng shui sectors are in relation to your front entrance. This applies to rooms, with the "Front Entrance" being the doorway to the room, ( or the main doorway if there is more than a single door from outside ).
The sum of three sectors in line or on diagonal will equal 15.

4 WEALTH AND PROSPERITY This sector affects the muscles, hips, bottom & gallbladder. Unbalance here can result in instability on the one side, or stagnation on the other. Blues, purples & reds.	9 FAME AND REPUTATION Allied to the heart & small intestines. The eyes open into this area. Fire Red	2 LOVE AND MARRIAGE The organs tied to this sector are the spleen & stomach. As the stomach feeds all other organs, unbalance here can affect memory & emotions, as well as cravings. Reds, pinks & whites
3 HEALTH AND FAMILY The organs relevant to this area are the feet and liver. An out of balance liver can lead to irritability, anger, and even violence. Blue & Green	5 CENTER Closely tied to this sector are the spleen, pancreas & stomach. It is important not to block this area, as all energies need to flow through the centre to balance our bodies, our lives, & all other sectors. Yellow & Earth tones	7 CHILDREN AND CREATIVITY Pertaining to the lungs, & controlling the skin, this area is linked to expressing through the mouth. When breathing problems occur, this can bring on depression, jealousy, & other negative emotions. White & Pastels.
8 KNOWLEDGE AND SELF-CULTIVATION This area relates to the pancreas, the most “Yang” of the organs. Also affected are the hands. Black, Blues & Greens	1 CAREER This sector represents the water element, which in turn relates to the ears & kidneys. The kidneys are to the body as is the front door to the home, being the supplier of energy to the other organs. Unbalance in this area can decrease your effectiveness and influence your sex drive. Black & Blue, Dark tones	6 HELPFUL PEOPLE AND TRAVEL Allied to the large intestine & to the head. Balance here improves the higher personal qualities & imbalance can result in poor behaviour, headaches, & mental stress. White, Grey and Black

The doorway could be in either of the three sectors on this side, hence this is sometimes referred to as the "Three Gate Bagua".
